Many UX Designers, myself included, are perfectly capable and willing to bring their designs into a coded platform, for prototype purposes or to speed the process of getting improvements into a product. It is the slowest part of the design process, however, burning time that could otherwise be spent exploring more and better options in other areas. It is becoming a more common practice as platforms have advanced.
